Cater Family Nut Cup Recipe
One Batch (About 24 Nut Cups)

Ingredients:
.5 pound + 1 T Salted Butter - Softened
8 ounces Cream Cheese
2-3 Canisters Wondra Flour (Canister is 13.5 oz.)
1 Egg - lightly beaten with fork
1 C well chopped Walnuts
1 C Brown Sugar
1.25 t Vanilla
Powdered sugar for dusting
For the crust:
Blend together .5 lb butter and cream cheese
Add flour one canister at a time until fully blended and it forms a pliable dough. You will need 2-3 cannisters or flour, depending upon the weather
Roll dough into approx. one inch balls and press into pan
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes
Preheat oven to 325 F
For the filling:
In a large bowl, lightly beat egg with a fork
Blend in 1 T softened butter
Add the remaining ingredients and mix together

Once crusts are chilled, fill each cut with about 1t of filling . The filling should not be too high.
Bake in the oven 15 - 20 minutes, until the filling is bubbly and the dough is light bwown
Once removed from the oven, cool on a rack for at least 15 minutes. Once cooled, carefully remove each nut cup. They should come out easily.

Allow cool completely then lightly dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!!
